Answering the call to adventure can be exciting and terrifying thing. There is something about the comfort of home that keeps us here. Routine is safe and it has a sense of rhythm and security to it all. It becomes hard to break free from. It’s when I’m in the the midst of all that safety and security that I start to get a little uncomfortable.
I start thinking about the old places, new places, near and far, here and there. It could be a weekend, a week or just a day trip. Finding the opportunity to break the routine brings a sense of excitement and a spark to the day to day. It gives us something to look forward to, something to focus on and plan for.
This blog is an opportunity to share ideas, inspire and encourage you to step out and take that adventure you’ve been thinking about. These adventures don’t have to be epics, they can start small, they can be close to home and they don’t have to cost a whole lot. Building a lifetime of memories filled with adventure time alone or with family and friends makes for a rich and interesting life. So let’s go! lets wander here and there.
